Dealing With Curses

Because we daily contend with curses as people discuss us, our aspirations, our actions, behaviours, attitudes etc, then we must make these curses as naught so that they do not affect our life. Some people do intend to harm, but also the nicest people could be saying things about us without any intention of harming us. We must do as Jesus told us to do and reward evil with good. "Father forgive them: for they know not what they do." Luke 23:24.

Matthew 5:37

"Let your communication be Yea, Yea; Nay, Nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil."

Matthew 5:44 - 48

"But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh the sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.  For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publican the same?  And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans so?  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."

We are also attacked by demonic forces that can and should be moved to where God has assigned them to wait for His eternal judgment.  The demonic forces that do inhabit or visit our body will curse the body so these curses need to be lifted and made as nothing.

Isaiah 41: 10-13

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God:  I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.  Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing, and they that strive with thee shall perish.  Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contend with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of naught.  For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee."

Deliverance Command

In the name of God Almighty the Lord of Heaven and earth; In the victorious name of Jesus Christ the Son of God who overcame the world, who vanquished the devil and all who labour under the devil; and in the name of God the Holy Spirit; I command and mark in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of God, all demons, all evil entities, all being that have an intimate relationship with the devil, all devils, all pets of the devil, fallen angels, poltergeists, ghosts, wraiths, unclean spirits, principalities, demon hordes, demon armies, demon droppings, serpents and scorpions, demon droppers of fledgling and experienced demons, all beings that labour under the devil; you are all marked in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of God, including all of you who have come to me through the curses and actions of others and through my self curses and actions. And that mark says "I am captured by Jesus Christ, the Son of God."  All of you so marked you go now to that place that God has assigned you to await His final eternal judgment. In Jude 6 it says, "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day."  You are marked in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of God and that mark is indelible; you all go now to that place that God has assigned you to await His judgment, and when you get there you will wait for God's final eternal judgment. AMEN (Repeat a few times.)

As usual this deliverance command will have to be repeated a few times because the demons are reluctant to obey anything even when they have the mark of being captured by Jesus and that mark seals their fate.

Prayer to God Almighty

Dear God my Heavenly Father; Let all the curses that are directed at me be as nothing.  Please let the curses be as naught so that they do not affect my life in any way.  Let the activity of everything evil associated with the curses be as naught.  Let all evil beings associated with the curses never be found again.  Please revoke all curses that have been put on my body by demonic forces.  Let the unfortunate persons who are initiating and perpetuating curses on me, and those who are perpetuating these curses be blessed with insight into what they are doing and decide to stop doing it.  Let them create and strengthen their relationship with you God and with Jesus Christ the Son of God, and not curse anyone ever again.  Thank you God, Amen.

I have found this prayer to be useful when I read it aloud in the morning and evening, maybe it could be of use to you too.

Curses affect our life in big ways.  The unfortunate part is that most of the curses on ourselves come out of our own mouth.  Our attitude towards an evil that may be afflicting us can even be valued as a virtue such as self deprecation, where our prayers to God are to ward off some evil, and ask God to help us to mend our ways, but these words of self evaluation slip into our secular life and we repeat them at times when we are not praying to God.
Be warned the devil is listening to what we say about ourselves and sends out demons to fulfill the negative self reproaches.

The easiest curses to notice ourselves doing is what we say about our health.  Information about an illness is very useful to have and to be able to use in prayer.  We can be sure that all information that leads to our good health is a gift from God, whether it comes from books or any other media or from the doctor. This information can bring us into a position of knowledge about an illness so that you can pray specifically for healing of the body of that particular illness.  Specific prayers are much more effective than vague prayers. Saying negative things about your own health such as reciting the progress of an illness to a morbid conclusion, is self cursing of your own body.

When the doctor tells you his diagnosis of what is wrong with your body you then need to ask what the healthy working of the body is. Some doctors will tell you how the particular organ, or workings of you body, should be performing. With this information go to God Almighty in prayer and ask for the healing and the specific correct healthy body responses to give a perfectly healthy body. Now when you do any self talk you remind yourself and your body what God Almighty is doing to heal your body.  You remind yourself how God has healed, or is healing your body.  You remind yourself that the healing is going nicely, and that God Almighty is in charge.  This self-reminding of God's power working in your body is faith in action. As Jesus said, "Your faith hath made thee whole."

When Jesus healed ten lepers he then sent them off to the priest to show that they were healed. As the men journeyed they were healed.  The healing took place over a short period of time and the most important thing is to keep faith that God will heal.  There was one of the lepers who went back to Jesus to thank him for the healing and at that point Jesus healed him there and then.  The demons of leprosy left his body and his body healed miraculously quickly.  We can assume that the others were healed according to their own faith.  So keep the faith. God can heal instantly, but keep in mind that the body is designed to heal over time and the prayer for healing is most often answered by prayer being the impetus for rapid healing over a short period of time, and not instant miraculous healing.

Be vigilant and make sure to notice what people say to you and about you especially if what they say has a morbid outcome. This is a curse. Counteract the curse that the speaker has unwittingly put on you.
A curse has absolutely no power unless it hits a willing target.  However the demons that are with the curse will jump into the recipient of the curse and if the demons find that you are a willing target they will stay.  Therein lies the danger of having faith in persons and what they say, if we have faith in the person who is unwittingly cursing us we might be making ourselves into a willing target.  Our faith should be in God Almighty and what He says to us.  God says "I am the Lord God that healeth thee."

If people say negative things about my health I usually immediately correct them and reword what they have said to a positive outcome. This will immediately stop the curse but the company I am in might make it difficult to do it at that time:  in that case, after leaving the person who has unwittingly cursed me, I would do the deliverance command on myself to get rid of any demons that had entered me.  I know that demons do not follow our rules they follow what the devil dictates so they will enter anyone without an invitation and they can only be moved out by God Almighty, Jesus Christ the Son of God and the Holy Spirit.  I always do the deliverance command that sends them to await God's judgment (as set out in Jude 6) because although I know that some demons will leave of their own accord it is very likely that they will jump into another person.  Demons will then keep on moving until they find a willing host.  The deliverance command gets the demons out of our realm and into a place where they will never harm anyone ever again.

Curses are a nuisance in society.  We have to be careful of what we say to other people and to ourselves.  The quote from Jesus in Matthew 5:37 where we are only supposed to say Yes or No because to say more than that is probably influenced by the devil is a reminder for us to be careful of what we say.
Up to now I have written about "Love your enemy" curses that come from the verbal mistakes said by those who love and like us,  but there are some curses that are directed at a target person or organization that are not so well meant or a verbal mistake.  The people, who know what they are doing by directing a curse at someone, study what to say or do to influence another person or organization and bring about their destruction.
These curses are dealt with in exactly the same way as "Love your enemy" curses with deliverance and healing prayers for yourself and with the addition of deliverance and healing prayers for the ones directing the curses.  For anyone to be directing evil at another person means that they are not in their right mind and deliverance and healing prayers will help them to see life in a God given way.  The deliverance command directed towards the one doing the curses will get rid of the demons that still have a connection line to yourself and the one(s) doing the curses, so there is an automatic benefit in doing good to those that curse you.   By doing the deliverance command you are not wasting your time by loving your enemy in this way.  When you pray for your enemy and ask God to give them a new clean heart and mind, you are causing them to rethink the concept of cursing or to just forget about cursing altogether.  Again there is a benefit in "loving your enemy."  When we include the knowledge of the devil working in the world through his missives, demons or otherwise, we can understand the wisdom of the words of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:44 - 48

But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh the sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.  For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publican the same?  And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans so?  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
